Schneider Structural Engineering, Inc. was involved in retrofit and design of one Fermentation Steel Tank of 44-ft diameter and two BeerWell Steel Tanks of 40-ft diameter. SSE made detailed FE models of these three existing tanks and took responsibility for retrofit design with detailed field weld specifications. SSE provided special weld design and details for shell and cone welds and welds repair. Construction in the field were done under period inspections of SSE Engineers.
