Project Description:   Schneider Structural Engineering (SSE) provided the Structural Engineering for this food processing, storage and distribution facility  located on 21 acres site of the former ADM property.  The facility includes two-story Packaging, Automated High Rack Storage, and Shipping Dock buildings, as well as Cooling Tower, and processing Pipes’ Racks and Towers.  The buildings are structural steel frames with pre-fabricated insulated metal panels siding.  The Cooling Tower is cast-in-place concrete, and the Pipe Racks and Towers are steel frames.

The available on site existing steel members were utilized for most of these buildings’ and structures’ steel members.  Also, the already in-place existing concrete piles and pile caps were used on this project.
